‘Workshop in a Box’: Implementation Strategy

This resource forms part of the Glasgow Financial Alliance for Net Zero (GFANZ) ‘Workshops in a Box’ series which contains materials that inform and educate on the voluntary GFANZ Net-zero Transition Plan (NZTP) framework. The presentations contain the information needed for trainers to hold workshops with minimal preparation and can be held independently of each other. This specific material covers the ‘Implementation Strategy’ theme of the NZTP framework. This theme covers recommendations and guidance on the alignment of business activities, products, services, and policies with the net-zero objectives. This theme also considers how financial institutions could carry out and integrate the assessment of, and additions to, core business functions in order to support real-economy emissions reductions. This assessment includes consideration of external-facing financial products and services, internal processes that drive the institution’s financial activities and decision-making.
