Course Objective:

This course equips banking professionals and financial regulators with knowledge and tools to understand and manage climate-related risks and opportunities, with a focus on integrating climate risk into financial decision-making and reporting.

Learners can expect to:

  1. Understand the science and impacts of climate change
  2. Identify physical and transition climate risks and opportunities relevant to banking
  3. Gain insight into key disclosure frameworks including TCFD and ISSB
  4. Learn core climate risk assessment methods, scenario analysis, and stress testing
  5. Explore policies, regulatory developments, and UNEP FI tools for climate risk integration
